I have a 100 MB ZIP disk on which I have saved some digital pictures. Recently, my PC crashed just after I tried to access these files because of (I think) a problem with the ZIP drive. Hitting (CTRL-ALT-DELETE) was ineffective and I was forced to pull the plug and restart. The disk is now unreadable on a replacement ZIP drive and I am being prompted to reformat. Are these files lost for good or is there software/hardware out there that can recover them?
