hi. i'd like to do a bit of traveling for a year, in about 6 or 8 months.
i've a bit of debt, 6k, which i could clear in about 5 months.
now, i'd figure i'd need about 15 - 20k to travel, which i'd have no problem paying off........ once i got back that is.
i'm just wondering the best way to handle this........ i could get a loan from the bank, over 5 years, and have enough money in my account to cover payments for the first year........ or i could get a credit union loan........ but the thing is, my credit union's with work, so i guess they'd know i'd be gone.
not sure what the best way to go about this is....... any help would be appriciated
