work accident advice, too complex?

Hi all, I work in the care industry and was assaulted by a client I was looking after. I have been unfit to work for the past seven months I have soft tissue damage to my back. My employers have been paying me wages and my medical expenses. I experience alot of pain as a result of this injury. My question is would it be worth my while to persue a claim.
 
I'm not sure many could advise on this without considerable detail and background - which you'll probably not want to provide on a public forum.

I think you should talk to your solicitor really.
 
There will need to have been some sort of negligence on the part of the employer for a claim to suceed.
 
probably rests on whether or not you were adequetely trained in self defence and restraint. You should speak to your solicitor.
