I've a child from a previous relationship, she spends most of her time with her mother and i take her about two times a week - i'd take her more but i work shift and that restricts me. Anyway i claim the single parent tax allowance.
My current girlfriend is now pregnant and we're both delighted and were planning on getting married (once her divorce comes through in a few years). I've asked her to move in but i'm wondering will i now not be entitled to the single parent allowance?
