Quick query, is it possible for a widower who worked for 10 years in the UK and 35 years in Ireland to claim Irish widows pension and small UK state pension pension?

Irish widows pension has two 'versions' only one is not means tested.

You can claim as long as you are resident, legally married / civil partnership & your spouse is deceased.

UK pension entitlements are different, but you should definitely check it out. They take months to reply, but you will eventually get a response.

Thanks. Yes resident here for 35+years. Spouse is deceased and worked here! Both worked in UK before returning here
