which electric heating option?

had a quote from a company called ecopower, for those German style heaters, but is this the best option for me? most of these companies charge from around £300 a rad. i cant get gas and only have 2 old style storage heater that is pretty lame. we just had a baby and i need something in place before the winter sets in.

any advise welcome
