VAT to US customer?

Hello,
I have a small company which is VAT registered. I charge VAT on invoices
to Irish and european customers. However I am not clear on the procedures for foreign customers. Do I need to charge VAT to customers in the US?

There is no Vat charged on services rendered outside the EU to persons resident outside the EU. There may be US taxes that need to be paid.
