Hi Folks

We have 300,000 sterling on deposit, earning 0% interest at moment with the AIB.

Has anyone any advice how to best to earn some interest on it.

We don,t need money for 1 yr

A business account manager should be shot for letting that happen,
at the very least find out who he/she is and go from there.

deposit rates in the north not quite as good out here, but you should get 3% at least without pushing them. instant access withh get upt o 2% with BOI business account in the north (not current account)
 
dingdong - ROI based or NI based GBP deposit?

For a ROI deposit ...

Ring around and ask. Most GBP rates are not listed.

Previous posters have got good GBP rates with Investec and Anglo.
