just wondering if anyone has any idea of spanish tax system for businesses.
situation is that we had a business in Spain which we have signed over to someone else. We have paid most the taxes owed but as they were paid late penalties arise. Every time think I know how much we have to pay the picture changes. I have an accessoria which is spanish accountant and she is ok but I think the tax people take their time about issuing stuff etc and it can be hard to get handle on it.
Does anyone know if there is a way of doing a deal with them or any other ideas. It is not a large amount a few thousand but it is money I have not got. The difficulty is that we have an apartment and if we leave i unpaid it would be on the apartment. Cant sell apartment as worth less than mortgage. Any advice welcome.
