If anyone has gone through the shared ownership process recently I would appreciate it if you could help me with the queries below.
I am at the stage where I have received maps and copies of the contracts from the solicitors and I am waiting on a closing date. Can you let me know what exactly happens next?
How long will I have to wait for a closing date?
Is there a delay between signing the contracts and the actual closing date or does it all happen on the one day?
I have been told by the Council that I need to have my name on the insurance for the apartment on the day of closing but surely I can't get my name on the insurance until the contracts are signed but if there isn't a delay between the contract signing and the closing day when do I have time to organise to get my name on the insurance policy?
Any help you could give me would be most appreciated.
