Reclaiming DIRT on fixed term deposit non resident

Does anyone know how complicated it is to reclaim DIRT. My daughter recently moved full time to Netherlands. She has a lump sum invested with a PTSB fixed term deposit. I’m wondering will there be many hoops to jump through for her to reclaim the DIRT deducted. Thank you.

I would assume that she is still ordinarily tax resident and domiciled in Ireland for the next 3 years so not due a refund.

Thank you Flybytheseat. I was not aware of the three year rule in this situation. So even though she is legally resident in the NL, she is still liable for tax on returns on Irish generated assets such as DIRT. Thanks again.

Revenue says you can reclaim DIRT if you are non-resident in Ireland and living in a country with which Ireland has a double tax agreement.
No mention about being ordinarily resident or domiciled.

If you reclaim the DIRT, Ireland may inform the other country of this, and you may be liable to be taxed on the interest there instead.
