Can someone direct me to the thread that was in relation to the shipping costs for buying books on amazon. I definitely seen it on this site but cant get back to it.??

Can't find it myself but Amazon's shipping charge structure generally involves a charge per shipment and a charge per ite,m (book, CD, DVD etc.). If you clock on their shipping charges link you'll get the details. For books from the US it's about US$5 per shipment and US$5 per book. I've bought good as new second hand books individually from Amazon US Marketplace third party sellers for around US$1 and still saved even with those shipping charges!

My mistake on the Amazon Marketplace charges - it seems to be a flat item shipment charge of c. US$10 and not the usual per item and per shipment charging structure.
