Question re Mortgage interest supplement

Hi

My husband has been put on a three day week and is due to go to SW tomorrow to process a claim for JA/JB.

Is he entitled to Mortgage interest supplement? He currently earns €31k per year (which is going to drop from tomorrow) and I earn €38k and work fulltime.

Our mortgage is €1825 pm which we are going to struggle to pay which mortgage protection, life policy, VHI, bills etc. Does anyone know if we are entitled to claim this and if so how much it will be?

With those figures you would be entitled to very little or more likely nothing.

Because you work full-time, there would be no entitlement to Mortgage Interest Supplement.
