PRTB fast tracked ?

hi ,i am a tenant and filed for PRTB dispute 4 weeks ago, i had telephone call from PRTB so notify the case would be in 4 weeks time it has been fast tracked due to the severity of allegations , all true !.
I am reluctant to say much about the case but landlords solicitor offered 20k to get us out which i refused.
Is it usual for PRTB procedure to be this quick

Well I would assume that they would like to deal with cases such as your's, where allegations are extremely severe and there is evidence that the landlord's solicitor has already tried to settle with you in a more timely fashion than cases such as "my landlord won't give me back my deposit eventhough i wrecked the house before I left".
