Hi, I was recently involved in a minor crash. I was stopped at traffic lights and someone drove into the back of my car and damaged the bumper. We swapped details, guards came and recorded the accident and confirmed that the other driver was at fault. I am on my first provisional licence and had someone in the car with me who has their second provisional licence. Will this go against me when making a claim ie no fully licenced driver with me? Thanks for any replies.

You will need to check the T&Cs of your insurance policy.

You may be liable to prosecution for not having a driver's licence and not being supervised by a licensed driver at the time of the accident. You may not be insured either.

you are not the culpable party. You are the innocent one in this case. it will NOT affect your claim.
