Hi - I have recently inherited a house & land. While probate is underway can I raise a 'protection' with the Land Registry in case anyone tries to challenge ownership or try to sell it?
There are ways, yes. It depends on the circumstances, who the registered owner is/was, what threat you feel exists and your interest in the property. You should take proper legal advice.
