I thought I was living under the wrong gouvernment. But the penny seems to have dropped, the One Ahern categorally want's no nuclear power, the other wants to fill the State's pockets with the profits of the rich and our Dicky is beginning to open the energy market by allowing more and more non fossile power plants to be build.
When will be the next elections ?

Too right. Can't wait for the socialist utopian republic we can look forward to under a 'FG/Labour/Green/Sinn Fein/Looney Independents/whatever yer havin yerself' government after the next election.

Because they'd obviously end all hospital waits of longer than 15 minutes, end traffic congestion, further shorten the dole queues, raise our standard of living etc. etc.

Empty vessels make the most noise! Every politician who feels they are slightly insignificant will be rattling on about something coming up to an election....even if they have no plan of action....and no supporters for that action.
