My wife passed away 2 years ago. I did'nt apply for Probate as the only assets were joint bank account and our home (joint tenants). Is there any benefit of going for Probate or will there be issues when I passon for our children.
There shouldn't be any issues but maybe talk to your solicitor and see if there are any s/he can think of. If your property is a registered title, you might do a "withdrawal of name" application to tidy that up.
