I have never claimed tax relief for pension which I set up 4 years ago. What do I need to do to claim tax relief?, when forms are required to be completed? Tks.

If the pension is paid by deduction from salary tax relief is given automatically.

If a lump sum, ask the tax office for a balancing statement and make sure the pension contribution is deducted before deduction of tax.

If the tax relief is not granted via payroll then you need to claim it as explained above. You can then also claim PRSI relief as explained here:

Claiming PRSI relief on standalone PRSA contribution

You should get a move on since you can only backdate claims by 4 years so if you leave it until 2008 you will no longer be able to claim back tax for 2003.
