Pension Rights After Living in England

Hi All,

I am returning to Ireland after living in England for 17 years. I worked in Ireland for a couple of years before that. I am in my late thirties. What I was wondering was what is my position in relation to the state pension?

If I retire at 65 will I have built up enough contributions to qualify for a full state pension?
If not will there be some means testing to determine what I would get?
Will my contributions in England count towards an Irish state pension?
If the English contributions don't count will I be entitled to some English state pension when I reach the relevant age?

Thanks in advance for any advice.

May.
