Have you considered processing the pay yourself, especially if you have a small number of employees? I know this isn't quite answering your query, but it might be a more cost effective way of handling it.
Note: I'm obviously very much biased being affiliated with a payroll software company!
We use Collsoft payroll software in my firm for all our clients. I work in a small firm of Chartered Accountants and find it very easy to use. And fully compatible with Revenue's Online System (ROS) which is very handy!
as others said, there are a lot of good, easy to use payroll packages out there. Also, have you thought of asking your accountants, many firms do payroll for their clients. Its efficient and ties in with their year end work well too.
