what would that mean? Would I need to disclose anything to social welfare if he does? We have been going out for a year and just want to try and live together. The apartment in in my name. I am just not sure if it would change anything for him. He is currently a mature student while I am in a full time job. Thanks,

He must notify his local health office immediately of any change in his circumstances, as the Medical Card is means tested, & your income will be assessed also. To clarify, he should ring the HSE infoline 1850 24 1850.

They will be able to give him a definitive answer as to what he should do.
