Hi all
Not sure if anyone can offer some advice.
Originally from Ireland , moved to the UK in 2007 and have lived here since.
Received a letter from the social welfare to my Irish home address telling me about an overpayment from 2003/2004?? For €1100, supposedly I claimed and worked at the same time which I have no recollection of. I have appealed this however they now have sent a further letter stating they will take legal action if unpaid?
Just wondering as its been appealed naturally I want some more facts/info from them which have not been supplied, secondly I'm no longer an Irish resident so why has this surfaced now? They seem unsure what to do when I ring them so I don't seem to get any straight answers?
Anybody in the same situation as myself any advice would be great.
Thanks
