Hi, I no longer require NTL and at the moment there are wires crossing the front of my house which are unsightly.
Can I ask NTL to remove them now?
If these wires also serve neighbours, can I still have them removed?

Thedaras question raises another question - if you are not an NTL customer and they have wires attached to your house - could you charge them in some way for this facility?

We have had free ntl for years because NTL have wires attached to our house.
If you dont ask you wont get

Interesting gogerg, I am not an NTL customer any more because I could not endure the torture any longer - however, I may change my mind for the same "terms" as you have, I like your thinking

Free NTL!! because of the wires! great..
MY issue is the wires are unsightly and the wire is not for my house but attached to a pole outside my house to the left and comes right accross my roof,to serve my neighbours, not me!!
MUst ask them about the free service!
When they were doing maintence in the area I had requested that they do something with the wire ,they put it under the facia!!

Hi thedaras

I have other utilities coming in by overhead wire so removing just the NTL will not really help with the unsightly look in my case, let us know how you get on with the request to remove the wires
