No Skyfest this year?

Just wondering if anybody knows why there's no Skyfest for this year's St. Patrick's Day celebrations? It seemed to be a popular event with the public. I loved it.

So far I've heard that it's too expensive and another reason was that there are too many cranes in the docklands area and it poses a safety concern?!

I enquired about this and there will be no skyfest this year due to the fact that the area they used to fire from is now classed as residential. !!!!!!! Bummer i know, myself and the kids looked forward to this every year!!!!
