Blackpool Pleasure Beach have banned visitors from taking their own food and drinks into the park.
All bags are searched on entry to the park, as they have done for some time now, and if any food is seen visitors are directed to storage lockers to store their food and told that they must eat this outside the park.
The Pleasure Beach claim that this is down to the lack of space inside the park, and other parks do the same, however, no other theme park in the UK checks all bags and luggage before entrance to the park and all allow food to be taken inside.
