Moving to joint life cover from single on AH/SO

Hi,
I have AH with DCC purchased through SO. I bought this in 2007 when I was single.

I am now married. I would like to extend the life cover that i pay every month with the payment to DCC to cover my wife also should the worst happen. Has anyone on this forum any advice for me? Have they managed to get both parties in marriage covered when the house was originally purchased when one of them was single?

Just take out a separate policy for your wife if you cannot change the policy you have.
 
Understand your point Monbretia but just wondering has anyone managed to add their spouse on to the life cover offered by a council for SO
