This estate has come up a few times before on this blog, the content of which has been both positive and negative.
Now that the housing market in Ireland has cooled down, I would be interested to hear what recent sales experience (last 6 months) has been in Mount Oval in Cork. Are prices continuing to rise, have they stabilised or have they decreased from say 2006 year end comparables.
I own a 3 bed semi in Kilbrody, which has been rented for the last couple of years for 1,300 euro per month. I'm now at a point where I can either continue renting or sell. I've heard that rents have increased in Cork over the last year, but not too sure that a 3 bed semi will fetch more than 1300 pm.
Would appreciate your experiences on the market in this estate (for both rentals and sales) over the last 6 months
