Mortgage Protection Terminal Illness

Just posting this for awareness, if anyone else is in a similar situation. I am terminally ill, and my mortgage protection has recently paid out clearing my remaining balance.

10 years ago I chose the cheapest basic quote from Zurich, still my policy allows an early payout. Maybe this is standard I just wasn't aware, always worth checking, one less thing to worry about. A medical professional to sign off on life expectancy less than 12 months.

This post from @Stephen Barrett in a previous thread suggests that it may be a standard feature of even basic mortgage protection life insurance policies to pay out in the case of a terminal illness diagnosis with a limited life expectancy.

Not sure if this post is in the correct forum, but just looking for advice. No arrears in mortgage, no problems paying, been diagnosed stage 4 terminal cancer. I probably have a few years due to advances in medicines... Do I notify our mortgage company? my husband looks after the mortgage...
