medical and part time working

My daughter is 18 and had to apply for her medical card when she turned 16 in her own right. She is still in school, (leaving cert next year) and has just got part time job. Will this effect her renewal and is there a limit she can earn before it effect her application. Many thanks ( I work part time and Husband is on disability, we have one other child of 13) Many thanks

Your daughter's entitlement to a medical card will be assessed in accordance with the income guideline for a person living with family. The income limit for a medical card is €164 per week. The income limit for a GP visit card is higher.
