My friend is a Local Authority Engineer on a Temporay contract. He has been told that his contract will not be renewed in December and to "look around".
He is paying A1 prsi and has superannuation deductions (including Widows and Children - he has neither).
In december he will have been working for the LA for just under 24 months.
His question is can he get his SA contributions back?
Does he have to pay the Public Service Pension Levy?
and if so can he claim this back also?
