Hi all, hope you can help, I am just boggled! I was on JSB for 18 months - part time - I did manage to get 3 days work having previously been made redundant and still hold that job thankfully. When JSB ended I was aware I would not qualify for JSA because of my husbands earnings, however when I advised the Social Welfare Office that he was being made redundant in the near future they advised me to apply at that time although I would not qualify and once he was made redundant apply again.
My question really is, I earn €360 gross per week - my husband will obviously qualify on being made redundant for JSB in his own right - should I reapply? Would I qualify for anything? Btw we do not have any children (yet!) so there would be no claim in that regard.
Any advices would be greatly appreciated! I just don't want to go wasting my time and energy, or theirs, if there's no point at all and anything I read online doesn't really answer my question!
