I am now unemployed, claiming JB for me, wife as qualified adult, and 2 children. We are both actively looking for jobs.
She would not have enough PRSI contributions for her to claim JB.
My wife may be offered a part time job, variable from 1 to 3 days per week, about 5 hours per day at approx €12 an hour.
I am concerned that we will be less off than if she doesn't work at all.
Am I correct?
