I have €60,000 with Irish Nationwide in a Freedom account hoping to have availed of their windfall... sounds stupid now having all that money sitting idle and wishing on a dream that didn't come true .... I need 7 day access to about a third of it, a month access to another third and the balance long term..Any advice gratefully received. I've looked at BEST BUYS but it sends my head spinning..

If you don't need it for the next year transfer to their good fixed rate of 4.65%, but hurry, as rate unlikely to be that much longer. If you need access to the money have a look at Anglo Irish demand account.

The best rate for on demand is 4.75% with Anglo Irish.

Why not on demand? There are better rates with on demand.

You should consider a 1 year term deposit with Irish Nationwide at 4.65%
