I applied for disability allowance in early August. I received a text confirming receipt of same. Does anyone know how long the process takes. I tried to phone them but gave up after being on hold for 16 minutes.
 
I was told today that my claim maybe looked at in the next 4 to 6 weeks. Does it seriously take four months to assess a claim?, Anyone got information re this please help.
