Home Insuring a holiday chalet

Does anyone know what insurance companies do insurance conchalet-type holiday home. This one is an old light timber construction with an outer corrugated iron skin. Yes, a shack! I use Aviva for my home but as soon as they heard non-concrete walls, they said NO.

if your current insurer said no, then you will have extreme difficulty placing it somewhere else. Do you deal direct or through a broker?

If the former, call in to your Aviva office and speak with someone senior. If through a broker, then get him to do the task.
