Does anybody know if it is possible to get income protection cover if you suffer from a very occasional anxiety disorder? Is this the type of thing that rules one out of cover?
- whether you have been treated for depression in the past
- whether you have missed work in the past due to anxiety
- when the last episode was
If you want the cover its worth applying and seeing what they require. I'm not an underwriter so I can't give you a definite answer but they may even offer cover with an exclusion for anxiety/depression depending on the circumstances.
