Hi

I purchased some stuff from the US and duly paid the duty, VAT and 'An Post' charge when it arrived. However some parts were missing... how can the new package with replacement parts be labelled so that I don't have to pay more duty and VAT on them as I have already done so?

Should it be labelled 'replacement parts, no charge to customer' or 'Gift' or 'Samples' etc etc.

Any help would be much appreciated as I don't feel I should have to pay duty and VAT again but for insurance reasons the goods must be declared as having some (the correct) value. I know I may have to pay VAT on the delivery component of the delivery even though the parts will be sent to me at no charge.

Cheers
Joe
