Health Insurance Impact of birthday on health insurance?

My birthday falls in September and I'm planning to start a Health Insurance plan for myself. It would suit me better to start the policy from October or November. But will the premium be cheaper if I start the policy in September before my birthday? I know that life insurance products are dearer if you start after a birthday but I know little or nothing about health insurance pricing.

Assuming you're 34 or older, there's a 2% loading for each birthday, so yes you'd be better starting before your birthday.

Lifetime community rating (LCR)

Lifetime community rating is a system whereby the premium that individuals pay for health insurance rises with the age they enter the private health insurance market, but does not vary in relation to their current age.
