How to delete a post

You can only delete or edit a post immediately after submitting it. To delete it after this you need to e-mail a moderator to ask them to delete it for you.

We used to allow users to edit posts, but a few users were deleting all their content and ruining the thread where people had replied to them or quoted them.

We don't remove threads unless there is a very good reason e.g. where the poster might be identified from the content.
