You could also consider or hotels which are closer to Croke Park and are the same price. Travelling from the West you take the M50 to the M1 and then head for City Centre (although you won’t go into the the city centre), it’s a straight road from the M50 and both hotels face onto the road. Saturday evening you can expect it’ll be no hassle.

Ardmore on the Finglas Rd has lovely rooms. Walking distance to Croke Park. There's a fairly new Comfort Inn on Granby Row/Dorset Street and I've heard good reports on it. Theres also a Jury's Hotel on Parnell Street. All are within walking distance of Croke Pk

The new Louis Fitzgerald near the Red Cow is up to 4 star standard at 3 star prices. Have a look at some of the reviews using tripadvisor.

Eh....

Well it's southwest of Dublin which sounds like the ballpark area requested.

Any useful suggestions yourself?

VERY Soutwest some ballpark more like a golf course ;) practically in Kildare - how would they get to Croke park- no decent transport links, very bad traffic etc:rolleyes:

Bewleys hotel in Ballsbridge €119 a night - nice area, close to town, near the dart to get close to croke park, plenty of buses as well. There is one near the airport as well or even Lepardstown just off the M50 and the Aircoach starts there which should bring them pretty close.

Morans Red Cow Hotel is surely an obvious choice. Next to Luas direct to Connolly, plenty parking and good quality hotel with plenty facilities
