On any of the home insurance applications I've seen it asks if a person has been convicted of a criminal offence other than minor motoring stuff. Is this standard with all companies and if it is how much of a loading is there usually on it?

Thanks

it is standard and depends on the proposers unique situation. suggest you call into discuss in person with insurer or broker

Hi amg63,

This question is standard on all insurance proposals. Insurance companies will advise they are trying to find out if a proposer is a 'moral' risk. But yes certainly as Ravima stated I suggest you call in to your broker and discuss in person, it will make things easier.

Regards,

Michael (for Atlantic Insurance)
