hi.. need info on mortgage deeds

Hi.. I am married with two kids... my wife has an alcholic issue and had an affair..we are married 8 years and build on her fathers land...we own the land the house is build on but my wife's name is on the deeds of the house.. as this was done for tax reasons... the marrage is gone sour. I pay the mortgage it's in both our names... we're do I stand on this....

A can I lose my house if anything happens
B can I get my name on the deeds myself
C can she refuse to put me on the deeds

Go and see a solicitor.

They will try and untangle issues on ownership in the first instance. You can't both own the land but only she owns the house.

Seriously, you are probably talking about formally separating, sorting out property and, most important, dealing with wife's alcohol addiction and the welfare of your two children
