what i should have asked is about persons employed in this country from 1950 to 1955, what entitlement to pension have they

well all i know is that in the irish independant the other day there was a piece on pre 1953 and said to go to this website
 
Hi Joan - I didn't see the article in question, so I don't really understand your query. If you can provide a more detailed quote from the article, or find the article in the Irish Indo website, that might help me & others to understand your query.

Note that the area of pre-1953 pensions is a fairly specialist area, so I'm not sure how much help the contributors on this website will be able to help you.
 
not really sure myself, basically enquiring for my dad who read the article but basically it said that people who were employed here in Ireland pre 1953 might be entitled to a pension. gave this website for more info...and thats what i am looking for
If u were employed pre 1953 and could be entitled to a pension what contributions would u need and what are the guidlines
