I've search both the forum and Google for this to no avail.

I've taken out HA for the first time and have a 14% loading, so 7 years from the age of 34.

My question is do I only have to pay the loading for the 7 years I missed, or the maximum of 10?

It's a little confusing because of the use of the word 'maximum' in below article.

But my understanding is that the loading amount % calc is for the 7 years missed. You pay the loading for 10 years.

Lifetime community rating (LCR)

Lifetime community rating is a system whereby the premium that individuals pay for health insurance rises with the age they enter the private health insurance market, but does not vary in relation to their current age.
