I have a friend that was on Job seekers benefit in Q1 2010 having been made redundant and having had the max contribution of full AI prsi contributions, he was on JBA for maybe three months to say end Q2 2010 before accepting a Directors position in a small Ltd Co which he was then obliged to pay class S1 prsi insurance, this company did not succeed and has fallen foul of the economy, I understand he may go back on his JBA and has advised accordingly, what is the situation on this one, can he claim the remainder of his prsi JBA or not and if so for how much longer assuming he does not get another position...?
