A friend of mine has been on a 3 day week for over a year and getting 2 days Job Seekers Benefit weekly. It is unlikely the number of working days will increase anytime soon and she is worried what happens when she has all her 365 days entitlement are used. The 2 days social welfare will be a lose.
Also she is worried about her future benefits and entitlements if she is made fully redundant both from a social welfare and redundancy point of view.
Is she right to be worried where the 3 day week lasts longer than a year?
