Just wondering if anyone has any information on current garda vetting waiting times? any personal experiences?
I am currently in the process of having a company going through a licensing process, part of which is garda vetting. I have now been waiting since the 6th of January and have heard nothing.
I did not submit the vetting form directly to the vetting unit but rather to the body handling the licence application but they have told me it is with the vetting unit since 6th jan and that they cannot offer any guidline as to how long the process takes. I asked 6 weeks or 6 months? and was basically given a no comment. Some people have suggested 6 to 8 weeks. Anybody know?
