Hi all,
Am thinking of building a house, its a rural area in galway co. I have a site on my parents land. We are on a single income of 35000 and we have one child.
I have just been reading about shared ownership with the local council but to be honest i thihnk i dont know enough about it to apply for it.
Do i need to have a certain about of savings before i can apply for it? How do i apply for it? Is it suitable for someone thats building? i dont want a mansion just a roof over our heads.
Anyone that can enlighten me to what i should be doing before applying for it so i have the best chance of securing it?
Also the pros and cons of Shared ownership.
