Any ideas out there on best way to fund cost of kids in college. Single income public service house here. Mortgage paid (THANK GOD !!) and since then we have been getting "top ups" every year. We have tried to hold our monthly repayment at the same level each year and we keep EXTENDING the period of the loan. Three kids still to go ???
This has worked very well so far for us but the problem now is that the loan is getting BIGGER and BIGGER and the term is getting LONGER and LONGER. Worst of all our income is getting SMALLER and SMALLER ????
